KNOW YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST
As a young Entrepreneur, getting known by my product which is basically made from natural plants for the treatment of hair, I decided to make a new brand identity for my products. This design is what will build brand identity for the company. It makes us instantly recognized to our customers.
Brand identity is what forges the connection between you and your customers. The same is applicable to personal identity. It makes you unique; your identity in Christ makes you a special heir in His Kingdom.
Knowing your identity in Christ means, believing that what God say about you is true irrespective of what anyone else says. Personal identity is one of the important things to understand. Knowing who we are, what make us tick, what makes us laugh, what get on our nerves, what brings us joy and so on; many people tend to forget that identity. Sometimes, it could be so secret that we end up chasing after meaningless earthly possession, thus finding ourselves in sinful experience.
If one does not correctly understand his divine identity, then such will never understand his divine destiny.
Our identity in Christ is part of accepting His gift of eternal life through faith. Your identity in Christ is not based on education, economic worth or social status but your relationship with Him. Those who know their God are marked out for exploit. Daniel says, " But the people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits" (Daniel 11:32b). Don't accept Satan's narrative of who you are. It is an obstacle of knowing your identity.
Our identity in Christ is a function of our love, relationship, commitment and intimacy with God. He created a new identity for you as a child of the Living God, as a man who has been forgiven, awakened to the fear of the Lord and know that God is great. Having and knowing your Identity gives you the confidence and audacity as to where you belong. Don't allow the shame, sins, mistakes or guilt of the past define your Identity. Do not admit or believe the lies of the devil. Surrendering your life to God and renouncing those sins gives you the grace-full access to have an identity with Christ. "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
And when these questions come, you have the confidence to claim and confess your true identity.
Who am I? 1Peter 2 :9
Where do I belong? Ephesians 2:6
What am I supposed to do? Daniel 11:32
Know and keep your Identity in Christ.
